CoronaDx AB is developing a cheap, accurate and fast Point of Care device for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 virus based on isothermal LAMP detection. The company will take Point of Care to new dimensions with a system that allows for non-trained people to operate it. The system will also be fully contained from the moment the swab is taken, and will thus not require any handling of the swab in free air – almost completely eliminating any infection risk for health workers. The technology and device is developed under ISO13485 from the beginning ensuring the development phase will enable as swift a certification process as possible. CoronaDx is working with international experts from the US, UK and Denmark on the development basing the system on the latest and most up-to-date technology available. CoronaDx is currently attracting investments to stimulate the development.
